Email Privacy TeamWhat Data We Store
When you use Apex Training, we collect and store the following categories of data:
Account Information
Email address, display name, password hash, and authentication tokens
Profile Data
Training preferences, fitness goals, experience level, equipment availability, injury history, known strength maxes (squat, bench, deadlift, OHP)
Training Data
Programs, session plans, workout logs, set logs, exercise history, personal records, and AI-generated recommendations
Progress & Gamification
XP earned, level progress, workout streaks, achievements, weekly reviews, and readiness scores
Health Data (if provided)
Body weight logs, macro/nutrition logs, cycle tracking data, daily wellness entries, and wearable sync data (sleep, HRV, recovery)
Subscription & Billing
Subscription status, plan type, and billing history (payment details stored by Stripe)
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Instant)
- 1Log in to your Apex Training account
- 2Navigate to Profile → Settings
- 3Scroll to the "Danger Zone" section
- 4Click "Delete Account"
- 5Type "DELETE" to confirm and click the confirmation button
Option 2: Email Request (Up to 30 Days)
If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email:
- 1Send an email to legal@apextraining.io
- 2Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- 3Include the email address associated with your account
- 4We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days
What Happens When You Delete
Warning: This Action is Irreversible
Account deletion is permanent. All your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
When you delete your account:
- Immediate deletion: Your profile, training data, workout history, personal records, and all other personal data are permanently deleted from our database
- Authentication removal: Your login credentials and authentication tokens are removed from our systems
- Subscription cancellation: If you have an active paid subscription, it will be cancelled immediately with no further charges
- Wearable disconnection: All connected third-party integrations (Strava, Fitbit, etc.) will be disconnected and synced data deleted
- Coach program removal: If enrolled in any coach programs, your enrollment and associated data will be removed
Data Retention After Deletion
- Immediate: All personal data removed from active database
- Up to 30 days: Data may persist in database backups
- Up to 90 days: Logs containing your data may be retained for security purposes
- Indefinite: Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (cannot identify you)
- As required by law: Certain records may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., tax records)
Third-Party Services
Deleting your Apex Training account removes data stored in our systems. However, you may need to take additional action with third-party services:
- Wearable apps: Revoke Apex Training access in Strava, Fitbit, Oura, WHOOP, or Garmin settings
- Stripe: Payment history may be retained by Stripe per their policies
- Google Analytics: Anonymized usage data may be retained
Alternative Options
Before deleting your account, consider these alternatives:
Export Your Data
Request a copy of your data before deletion. Go to Profile → Settings → Export Data.
Pause Subscription
Cancel your paid subscription but keep your account and data for future use.
